Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Back.

Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free backs for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Regular waxing sessions can slow regrowth and lead to finer, sparser hair over time.

Proper exfoliation, regular treatments, and using gentle post-wax care reduce ingrown hairs. We recommend exfoliating 48 hours after waxing, avoiding tight clothing, and applying antibacterial or soothing serums to keep follicles clear and calm.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on the first visit, but our technicians use rapid-strip techniques, warm wax, and calming pre- and post-care to minimize pain. Over time, sensitivity typically decreases with repeated sessions.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy lotions or oils. Hair should be at least quarter-inch long for effective removal. Exfoliate gently a couple days before, and avoid sun exposure or tanning before your appointment.

Most clients are eligible, but waxing isn’t recommended for sunburned, irritated, recently shaved skin, open wounds, or clients on certain medications like retinoids. Inform your technician about skin conditions, medications, or allergies before treatment.

Typically schedule appointments every three to six weeks based on your hair growth and comfort. Your technician will recommend timing depending on regrowth rate; consistent scheduling yields finer, sparser hair and longer-lasting smoothness.
